Pure Water Window Cleaning

Stalham Window Cleaning

Updated: Jul 27, 2020

As well as cleaning windows by hand using traditional methods, we also use carbon fibre, high reach, pure water fed poles. Cleaning with pure water is the latest innovation in window cleaning and has revolutionised the industry. In an area with very hard water like Norfolk, pure water offers the perfect cleaning solution. Why? Have you ever noticed those nasty water marks left behind when washing your car or on your shower screen at home? These are the minerals and impurities left behind from the water which are too dense to evaporate. Calcium, chalk, limescale, sodium and other naturally occuring minerals and ions are all present in regular water. When regular water is used to clean windows, it leaves white deposits on the glass (known as 'spotting'). All minerals, ions and impurities are completely removed from pure water making it perfect for cleaning windows.

When utilised for window cleaning, pure water is pumped in a continuous stream through a telescopic pole with a specially adapted brush head. The brush head is used to scrub the glass, frames and sills clean, then the windows are given a final pure water rinse before being left to dry naturally. This is the bit which can leave some people confused. The reason that windows are left to dry like this is because unlike normal water, when pure water is used to clean windows it evaporates completely leaving no spotting or water marks. Not only does pure water dry to a crystal clear finish, because there is no detergent residue your windows stay cleaner for longer. At Stalham Window Cleaning, we only use purified, deionised water so you can be sure of a spotless finish every time.
